Congratulations to Frank from High Wycombe!
Before Frank joined the BetterPoints Bucks challenge in May, he used his car every day to get around. Fast forward four months and now he drives much less as a result of downloading the BetterPoints app and joining the BetterPoints Bucks challenge. Plus, he has lost weight with his new active lifestyle.
Here is what he said about taking part in the challenge:
"I plan my trips so that travel by bus or brisk walk is always my first choice. It makes the trip a lot more scenic and adventurous. Ditching the car has now become a way of life, and made the travel a lot more exciting.
I now have set myself goals in my walking behaviour and do not feel a sense of achievement if these goals are not met every day. My behaviour has rubbed off in the household. I have lost 8 kilos in weight that has motivated me to eat healthier foods which has helped me set my sights on other goals. This has been brought about ditching the car travel and walking and bussing becoming my new way of life."
